I'm a stash diet failure....

Well, I really haven't bought any stitching stash in close to a year, but I really wanted to work on UFO's this year.......
All that changed when I received an email from Heaven and Earth Designs yesterday. They were having a 30% of sale! I went to take a look (look...not buy) and we all know what happened next. I bought not 1 but 3 new charts! What was I thinking!! I haven't finished even one of the designs that I already have...
Tonight I started Jane Wooster Scott's "Catching the Breeze". I love this style, I have done a couple of the Charles Wysocki kits and this one just said "stitch me". I would love to finish this one within a year and I am going to make it the focus piece of my rotation.
Now, back to the stitching!

Dusting off the UFOs

I know, I know, the title of this blog is KNIT me a cupcake. But, my first love has always been stitching... I have neglected my stitching for the last couple of years while I entered the wonderful world of knitting. Well, this past weekend I atarted reading a couple of stitching blogs and got bit by the stitching bug again. I don't know how long this will last...but I went through a couple of UFOs, took some pictures of them and started stitching!
I've decided to start a rotation of some things I had been working on...

I've been working on this LHN's "Home of a Needleworker (two) for the last few days, I'm about 3/4 done.

This is the Lizzie Kate November Flip-it. I have finished Jan.- Oct.

Mystic Stitch's "The Guiding Light".

Haed's design "Snowman"

and, last but not least, CCN's "Sweet Treats". So that's the rotation or now, I may add "Seaside Cottages". I'm still debating.....

Making it pretty....

I started working on this blog design over a month ago and this is as far as I have gotten...sigh...
I want it to be pretty and something that I will want to update often... so far it has been a lesson in patience and frustration. I have no idea what I am doing which has made this whole process even harder. So, I work on it a little here and a little there, hopefully it will be something nice someday....watch this space!
